  1. We now have Release Candidate build 116009 and I spent about 1 hour testing it and the good news is that this fixes the derail on coupling. The bad news is that ghost rolling stock can be created and if you try to edit it in surveyor TRS19 build 11609 crashes to desktop. If you couple to it in player and then try to move it, it will derail. Worst news is I cannot report this with the bug report form because it does not recognise this build number so I had to submit it on a ticket. I do hope they can release a new and better Release Candidate.
  2. I have update an install of TRS19 to the latest Beta release and there are some good fixes in it but there are still some updates to DLS paid for routes and sessions that have not yet been fixed. And sadly I noticed on the Auran forum that others were reporting a derail on coupling error. I tested it and in several DLC routes and sessions the session will run until a coupling is required and when you try to couple the whole train derails. I suspect that this happens because the track is displaced by a pixel or two and the stationary consist is already in jepordy. The problem also occurs if you set up two consists and set a couple command. I think SP5 might still be chick trying to break out of it's shell with a blunt beak.

  4. Hi It is me again. I have now got both sessions of Tankers over Tehachapi updated and working in TRS19 SP4 so If you would like to test either your own or both I can send you the cdp files. It is worth doing because I have been stamping my feet very hard and giving N3V a headache. They assure me that Mojave route is in work to fix the tunnels and make the crossings work. If they do that I guess the route might feature in the next version of trains. Please let me know because so far the sessions have only been tested by me. In your part 1 when you couple all the empty tankcars and set them out ready to run around them I have added an extended signal rule so you have two choices. either split the consist to clear the road or move the whole consist past the road as the signal is now permissive. I did have to replace every Un-Portal because the rule has been updated and our old version was corrupted in TRS19. Very Best Regards, Bob
  5. For TRS22 you need higher percentage, even Sherlock would need mor coke.
  6. I have updates both desktop and laptop to Windows 11 and the work well. I have TRS19 installed on both and have had no problems that have anything to do with Windows. There are still many fixes required for TRS19 SP4 but I guess only the ones that cause the biggest problems will get fixed. I am sure TRS22 is now the sole focus of the N3V team. I do get TRS19 freezing in Surveyor but it was doing that in Windows 10 so definitly not a Windows 11 issue.
  7. Thank You Dear Friend, I hope those two sessions can live on in TRS19. I also tried Euro Truck Sim but I could not get my head around the London to Rome trip only taking one hour. If you can cope with the supersonic freight transport good for you. I have been giving our friends in the land of Oz some things to think about today both in the forum and by tickets because they seem to be making Mt Vesuvius out of a mole hill. Ciao
  8. My good friend, I have updated both the Tanker sessions we uploaded to the DLS for TRS2012. They both run well in TRS2019 SP4 and I would like to upload they to the DLS again. I understand you hate N3V with vengeance, so do I but I still annoy them at every chance I get. I do hope you will grant me permission to upload your session with mine. I have not changed the functionality in any way all I have done is add extended signal commands at several points where the new logic in TRS19 has changed from TRS12. I will try to remember how to change the author back from me to you so it will have the same kuid. I have not used that trick you taught me since we worked on those sessions, but I am confident I can do that. Very Best Regards, Your Friend Bob
  9. Hi Owen, As I have mentioned I have been derailed for a while but like #4014 I am also now back on the track but needing a little more maintenance these days. I am now spending more time with Trainz and less time doing more exciting things but each thing I try like loading a NASA rocket engine on a flatcar is a struggle. Each thing I try for the first time I have forgotten how to do it and must search the help and Wiki pages for inspiration. Fortunately once I find the answer is remains in the new memory banks. It is amazing what a reshuffle of the brain can do for a person. I hope you and yours are all well and achieving good and great things and I hope to post some Trainz screenshots in the near term so watch the club screenshots page. Best Regards Bob
  10. Donnner Pass for TRS19 is under development, you have the only released version. That is the TS12 version. Bob
  11. In TRS19 SP2 the Un-Portals install with all the cars that are installed in the local DB. I added the UP844 and FEF after I checked the Un-Portal, and they were added into the consists correctly without the ‘consists’ being available so the behaviour in respect of Un-Portal is different. What I have found is that if there are any track variations between the TRS12 and TRS19 route then the Un-Portals become unstable showing zero trains at each portal location. The only way I have found to fix this is to correctly reposition all the portal TM including drive via and drive to TM and then copy and paste the rule from the TRS12 route to the TRS19 route. They also react differently where several portals are in one rule but some portals have no train because they are not used. TRS12 simply ignored the unused portals in the rule but TRS19 requires all portals to be populated. Add the invisible Loco with a driver but no schedule fixes this issue.
  12. Thank You, The Un-Portal is working, it is emitting the CLass 1 Steam trains OK so I will need to check where these are hidden to make sure they work.
  13. I have been trying to update all the SH2.1a sessions for TRS19 and I have been successful with all except Monolith Cement I have 4 missing dependencies That I do not have any back up for in my archive. The missing dependencies are: - <kuid:69593:101092> <kuid:69593:101091> <kuid:69593:101093> <kuid:69593:101118> I will upload all for UP844 when complete because both SH2.1a and SH3.1 install in TRS19 SP3 beta no problem.
  14. In TRS19 Platinum is <kuid2:60850:99999:1> spark built-in None of the others show up on DLS or in TRS19 including The recent TZIT USA Routes. There is a website where you can search the web for Trainz assets but I don't have it installed any more but someone might know what it is.
  15. Chris,

Please check your private messages on the Auran forum as there is a request to redskin some of the RP locomotives and I have forwarded that to you as the Head Honcho for the RP assets, I have cleared up who should be asked for permission and given credit if you agree to the request.

    Cheers,

    Bob

      Hi Chris,

I am so sorry to hear you have had more problems with your leg and I am pleased you have got home again.  I hope you can regain your mobility as soon as possible.

I am sorry to say I fear I will be of little help with the sessions, I have no attention span for anything that requires concentration.  I am still not able to get enough sleep and whenever I try to do anything I wind up staring into space and thinking of Betty.  I was told that the grieving process could take a year but I am finding over a year on it is no easier now that it was when I lost her.

It is good to know that RP will be set up at the Museum it sound terrific and in more normal times I would like to see it for myself.  Good luck with the set up.

      Very Best Wishes my friend,

      Bob

      Hi Bob

i am so sorry your grief is what it is, tho i can understand. I use sleeping medications and they do help....at times i have the same issue happened 2 nights ago, ...i feel for you deeply and have worried to be honest thiinking of what it might be for you from what you shared.

you have my sympathies and love.

I had to delay my help getting them set up for not only did that happen with my leg but my older brother died alone in his condo with no on there and was not found for up to a week, in San Diego. So i have had to help with that from a distance, and hlelp his sons make the funeral arrangments, etc.   what a year.

i will go look for that loco in fo tomorrow

thanks for sorting thru it so far.

      big hug

      chris

I am very glad to be back at TZIT and hope to be more active in the future!

I like the new digs here!  I like the new TZIT!  You all are the best Trainz community! :coppa:

And I like your emojis/emoticons too! :vinco:

  17. I think I might raise the possibility for low impact scenery US Locos on the Auran forums. The wider audience might take an interest but the results would be as variable as all the other DLS items.
  18. You know me I have no talent, all I can do is raise the issue and let the cleaver people in TZIT come up with the answers, if there are any answers!
  19. I have been trying to test Traffic density that works in TRS19 and I have found that if I have 6 locomotives in the range of being rendered the frame rate drops noticeably. Rolling stock is much harder to assess. If I have loaded open hoppers I get the FR drop at about 290 wagons. Empty open Hoppers it is about 320 wagons. for invisible loads it is about 300 to 320 wagons with and without loads. I have had a look at all the freeware locomotives we used in the T:ANE sessions and the skins are not up to the standards I would like for TRS19. The engine specifications are very poor and very variable. The rendering of the Locomotives spoils their appearance for me but the engine specs can be fixed for most of the locomotives. That is easy because Jointed Rail have a freeware dependency cdp of all their Locomotive engine specs and by changing the default engine spec for the latest JR spec and the performance is improved to very close to the real world performance. If we want to make sessions for TRS19 with a lot of traffic in Yards what we need are talented asset builders to make lots of scenery locomotives which can be placed on the tracks to look like actual locomotives but which do not hit the frame rates to the same extent.
