  1. I apologize for bumping the thread again. This time, I am feeling like I'm ready to spill the beans on my suggestions for more US stuff here even though most of the already existing six-axle modern US diesels aren't fully fixed yet. First of all, my newest suggestion would be that there should be some TTX TOFCs made for the "Trailers HP" load since none of the existing TOFC cars are made for the trailers from HP Trainz. I would also like to suggest some good Conrail equipment (including the C40-8 & C40-8W), the GE AC6000CW (CSX & UP), BN SD40-2s, and more GE ES44s.
  2. That really looks interesting! Everything on that engine, but the smokestack and tender reminds me of when I looked up stuff about when N&W was going to build a Y-7.
  3. So is that true? If so, I would be happy to run the Frecciarossa on Schwaningerland.
  4. Edit/Correction of last post: I think there's not enough to build accurate international sleeper train consists.
  5. I apologize for bumping the thread again. So I forgot to suggest ideas related to European overnight sleeper trains such as OBB's NightJet and the DB's City Night Line which came before it. Also, I'm not sure if I should suggest SJ's new EuroNight coaches that are used on the Berlin-Hamburg-Stockholm night services since I rarely see anyone here talk about Swedish rolling stock. There are some DB CNL and OBB NJ equipment out there, especially on Trainz.DE , but I think there's enough to build accurate international sleeper train consists.
  6. I apologize for bumping the thread after a few months, but what about Amtrak equipment? I know Magicland made the F40PH with ditchlights, but never made one without. That's just one example which I just came up since most Amtrak equpiment have already been modeled for Trainz, especially Tolaris's Acela model which came out just as early as his MSTS version. I'm not sure if what other gaps do I see in Trainz at the moment, but I just would like to say this one.
  7. Thank you very much! If the F units got better cabs, especially the new PBR versions (little too much for some people), so why not give the GG1 some love?
  8. Thanks! Even though I gave up on the project because of the many problems of changing the build number to 3.7, I just wanted to spread some awareness on this issue. P.S. I'm not Whitepass and he moved on to making more content, especially the more recent PBR stuff.
  9. Note: When I said "repair", I meant Auran never made a newer build version of the same interior. This is the thing I struggle with besides figuring out the correct height although I did good with lowering Davesnow's interiors to fit in Jointed Rail and Sporbust diesels in the past.
  10. I may have notified Whitepass on the Trainz Discussion Forums a while back about the one problem with his GG1 models. I honestly love his GG1 models and I think they're great since they're superior in detail than the old Auran GG1s that came before them. The problem is that the "gen gg" interior originally made by Auran is too low for Whitepass's GG1 models and no height adjustment of any kind is done to allow such interiors to fit in perfectly. In these screenshots, I did a side-by-side shot of two identical GG1 models to show how the generic Auran interior in the one GG1 doesn't match up its neighbor. I attempted to clone and repair the old generic GG1 interior to put on the DLS, but I usually get confused and frustrated to the point of cancelling the project since I don't have a lot of experience in repairing old interiors. I'm not sure if anyone out there is making a GG1 interior whether it's custom or do a better job of repairing the generic interior for heigh adjustment, but I feel that the this great GG1 model would be better off with a corrected height cab.
  11. I just tested all of these and here's three problems I've found in all models.
  12. Thanks! I was just wondering about expanding the number of freeware BR52 variants, so I don't have to use freeware Polish PKP Ty2 ones as much. I just wish the original DRG BR 52 (original boiler, not DR "Reko") would've been made freeware.
  13. I just have a new suggestion here. Since there are MSTS converted BR50 models, what about the BR52 models?
  14. Excuse me ALM? I'm not mad at you, but did you fix the same problems (except the second screenshot) in the other North American diesels (the NS SD70, NS SD70M-2, DRGW SD70ACe, all GE Dash 9, and all ES44 models) that you converted a while back? These NS SD70ACes have the same exact problems as them and I've already mentioned these problems in a past private message when I tested them all for the first time. I don't feel like posting screenshots on those ones which I should've back then, but I hope you understand where I'm coming from when I tested these in TRS22. 1. The CSX SD70ACe cab is too high above and too far ahead of the neighboring SD70ACe to match. 2. Units #1100 and #1101 have a black box around the windshield wipers. 3 and 4. Ditchlights are the only headlights on the front and rear. The actual healights aren't functioning.
  15. I just tried them out and I just made some corrections to their config files with some DLS stuff that make them be more like the real E7s. config-PRR 5717 E7 A EMD.txt config-PRR 5717 E7 B EMD.txt
  16. That's the train that ran on the MSTS PRR Eastern Region route and I didn't expect it to come! I might try this and thank you!
  17. Also, I personally think it's nice to have more BR44 models in Trainz. When I installed TS2010 Engineers Edition about 13 years ago, I had fun playing with Cebenpeter's old BR44 models (the earliest BR44 models) that were built into the game and they were also built into TS2009 & TRS2007 before. Even though, I later found out these old models were originally released to the DLS before Auran/N3V allowed steam engines with steam enginespecs, so these models pretty much had a diesel/electric enginespec and the enginesounds made for it wouldn't play on a normal steam engine with steam specs. These engines look fine (depite the DB/Bundesbahn versions have the DR/DRG smokebox doors which doesn't bother me at all), but they have an extra driving wheel floating near the boiler when installed into TANE and/or later versions and that problem was pointed out in a Trainz DE forum a few years back. While I hope Cebenpeter's BR44 models do get updated (and maybe corrected, but not here) one day, I think it's nice to have some very good alternatives for now and bigtrain1 was the first to make such new BR44 models (which I have so far) for anyone's collection. I'm not hating on Cebenpeter's models, but I don't think they age badly compared to gjvh's NS ICE 3 model which also came out in the early DLS content era.
  18. I just played with all four BR 43/44 models and I noticed three problems. 1. The smoke is in a weird shape when starting to move forward (I should've also see the smoke problem going backwards). 2. The generic American cab interior is down low on the ground. 3. The enginesound is really not accurate to the BR44, but that can be easily replaced by anyone.
  19. No need to explain the size difference and I started noticing that when I was originally into mostly British stuff as a kid.
  20. I just saw a screenshot of the front of this engine on Trainz DE and I say that one looks very nice and unique, especially with the American style streamlining. I think the BR01 is basically a German version of the PRR K4 in some way, especially when both had streamlined and semi-streamlined variants. Very nice model!
  21. I'm honestly not sure what to suggest, but I do see some gaps in Trainz content in regards to German rolling stock 1. Lufthansa Airport Express passenger equipment since there's only the BR 103 (DB BR103101-2) locomotive made by re_stambke on the DLS. 2. A decent ICE 3 model that is not the dated gjvh model (including the CJ187 reskin) and can be both the BR 403 and BR 406 (international like gjvh's) versions. 3. DR comfort wagens (similar to the DB Orientrot/popcolors coaches). 4. A decent model of the DBAG BIMDzf cab car since Williamg made one that doesn't have working headlights and only in the ICE style livery. 5. DB Orientrot first class coaches (or Aimz/Amz), there's already many coaches made by topae and Br 234304, but most are Bimz (2nd class) coaches and a few WRm (restaraunt)cars. I'm not sure if these will be made in the future. I also have some US suggestions, but I'd rather keep them to myself until your existing MSTS US diesels are fixed. I may or may not forget them when the time comes.
