DennR Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 I have TS12, TANE, !9 and 22 all on the same disk. I do have seperate DB for each version because N3v Have changed the kuid number of several "base" assets in 22 so sessions made using 22 are not easily backwards compatible with 19 and TANE. For compatibility I make sessions in 19 and then copy them to the 22 database. 22 recognises all the assets with changed kuid numbers. The session made in 19 can also be made to work in TANE by setting the version number to match the version of TANE you use. 1 1

Marco Posted May 2, 2024 Author Posted May 2, 2024 Ho installato TRS2022 Platinum, a questo punto ho sia il 2019 che il 2022 installati sullo stesso pc. Ora non vorrei contaminare quello che ho fatto con il 2019, come faccio a fare una copia di modo che abbia gli stessi contenuti (quindi sia progetti che rotabili/oggetti installati sul 19) sia sul 19 che 22? Cioè due directory diverse ma con lo stesso contenuto.

Ho comunque il sospetto che utilizzino entrambe le versioni parte del hd primario, io ho 5 hd ssd ho istallato il 19 e 22 agli estremi ma quando li 19 mi ha eliminato una tratta lasciando solo la sessione, questultima aveva oggetti del 19 che non erano in 22 e viceversa. Per questo sono molto scettico del 22 e le versioni future, se il 19 ha problemi dovrebbero risolverli, aggiungere novità è solo casino.

Il punto è un altro, se installo un CDP dove va? Al 19 o 22? Teoricamente al 22, che è installato più recentemente, ma se volessi installare qualcosa sul 19? Mmmm.... troppi casini 1

La prima cosa che ho notato è che il Surveyor 2.0 non sostituisce il classic ma lo affianca, è possibile scegliere quale usare, il che non è male, mentre uno prova il nuovo.

At the moment S2 is still only a BETA version and it does not have all the features you have in S1, for example there is no bulk asset replacement tool and some features in S2 do not work or only partly work. I will not take a monthly subscription so I have the retail Platinum version, but when I check in the forum for the subscribers, some of the bugs and missing features in S2 are being worked on. I do not expect Mister H to release the full version of S2 until the next version of TRS2X, but you can start editing a route in S1 or S2 and switch between them freely, in my experience all the changes made in both versions are saved to the new version of the route. Yes all the 22 stuff is in the folder created automatically when you installed 22. The way to import all that into your copy on the 19 folder is to go to the "Content Store" tab in the opening screen and download your Purchased content.

DennR Posted May 3, 2024 Posted May 3, 2024 You made a copy of your 19 folder with all your content in it I think. You then set 22 to look at that folder. The install of 22 only had the default routes and sessions that come with 22 and they are all available in the "content store". because you have a registered copy of 22 you can simply open the content store tab and download those 22 assets into your working database folder.

Ho eseguito l'aggiornamento. Tutte le tratte non incluse nel gioco, scaricate a parte sempre da steam, inclusa la sebino lake, che adesso si chiama Sebino Lago, accusano errori. Anche la mia bo-mi. L'aggiornamento riscrive moltii oggetti, che diventano difettosi. L'etr 610, l'ho dovuto cancellare, e reinstallarlo. Si risolve riportandoli originali. Ma dopo un ora...

My TRS22 is a retail version bought from N3V, I do not have a Steam account so I do not know what might happen when downloading the patch from a steam server.

Oggi è andata peggio...oltre un migliaio di oggetti secondo Trainz difettosi... ho fatto un replace totale all originale
Fenix7 Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 avrei bisogno di aiuto prima di fare aggiornamento, quando usavo il mouse per muovermi in una qualsiasi direzione, la direzione era rettilinea. adesso succede che mentre vado in una direzione, la mappa tende a ruotare. come posso risolvere?
DennR Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 N3V keep the installers on their website up to date so a new install is always the latest version. Before you try my suggestion, please make sure Steam have the latest version as the download. My suggestion would be, make a backup of your database. Then reinstall TRS22 from Steam. Next start the new install of Trainz and point it to your installed database, finally run a database rebuild from the developers' tab in the launcher window.
