Rollins Pass Sessions


ROLLINS PASS 1910 DEFAULT SESSIONS 1-10

 

This Pack contains revised versions of the original sessions released with the Route, plus some new sessions by Chris Gerlach.

 

The sessions require the Rollins Pass Route.

 

SESSIONS 1-4 - DEFAULT EXPLORE SESSIONS

 

Player Driven Explore the Route or drive any of 14 other accurate historic Trains

 

Each offers a varied Environment and a full array of all types of trains and cars located along the route. All Stations and Enabled as are all industries, mills and lumber camps and all platforms can receive and deliver freight and mail as well as passengers.

 

These are very basic explore, ride and drive sessions. They show the route as it was with accurately placed trains and consists at all yards, depots, siding and areas of the route. All of the trains present are accurate and authentic and can be driven by the player.

 

The default Start Train is the DNWP No. 1 Express and Mail Passenger Service that left Denver each morning and reached Tabernash by 1:30 PM. Another Passenger grain the No. 2 traveled in the opposite direction to Denver reaching Tolland around 5:00 PM on its way to Denver.

 

Freight service continued all of the time, much of it lumber in the form of logs to the mills, of which there are six located along the route, livestock from the four stock yards located along the route, Ice, from the ice House at Tolland, and normal general goods and freight to and from all of the depots and locations along the route.

 

The rotary Snow plows operated between the Spruce Siding on the top part of the pass and Ranch Creek Y at the far end past Corona. The plow trains consisted of the plow and its tender and 2 or 3 100 Class Consolidations and tenders, work cars and a caboose. There are plow trains located at both ends of this section for players to drive. Stock trains delivered cattle from Tabernash, Fraser and Arrow on to Denver thru Tolland and in between. A Stock train is located at Fraser. The yards at Tolland and Tabernash have other trains placed in them. All cars are prepared for loads and loading is available at any time with use of the load menu. A First Time T:ANE user manual is included in the download documents that instructs the user in all operations including loading and driving in the Quick Drive method, Advanced Driving is available for the locomotive Fleet as shown by the official T:ANE manual. Al water towers are operational and deliver water to tenders as do two water spouts at Jenny Lake and Corona.

 

The stations are located at Tolland, Corona, Arrow, Fraser and Tabernash and all Stations are interactive and enabled to load and unload passengers and this will occur automatically once the player stops with the train on the platform or some part of it. All of the industries: Mills, and Lumber camps and towns with loading platforms are enabled with MIN tracks for use in delivering and receivig freight and cargo.

 

SESSION 5 - AI TRAIN TO TABERNASH

 

The DNWP Passenger Train No. 1 Express and Mail is driven by AI from Tolland to Tabernash. Ride along or take control if yuu wish. Will stop at Corona, Fraser and Tabernash Depot where it ends.

 

SESSION 6 - ARROW TURN AI TRAIN TO ARROW

 

The DNWP Arrow Turn Tourist special drives to Arrow, Ride along or Drive it yourself. Stops at Corona and Arrow where it ends

 

SESSION 7 - MIDDLE PARK LOGGING TRAIN

 

Branch Lumber Mill Line, CUPRR run by the Middle Park Mill at Fraser. Drive the Logging train to three logging camps where you will stop at each and load logs. After Loadig at Stockholm Camp, reverse and turn on the Y and return to the Mill and unload the logs.

 

SESSION 8 - ROTARY PLOW TRAIN ON THE HILL

 

DNWP Steam Rotary Snow Plow No. 20100 departs from Spruce Y. You will drive it to Ranch Creek thru Corona to clear snow from the Hill.

 

SESSION 9 - AI ROTARY PLOW TRAIN

 

DNWP Steam Rotary Snow Plow Train No. 20100 will drive itself from Spruce Y to Ranch Creek passing thru Corona. Ride along or drive it yourself.

 

SESSION 10 - JENKINS MILL TRAIN

 

Drive Jenkins Mill train Porter 0-4-0 with a consist of flat cars loaded with ties for the DNW&P Section crews for maintenance on the Hill. Stop Train at Newcomb spur line end. Observe and explore the scenery and details. Some AI traffic.
